John Howell - letter to Oxford Mail

John Howell flatters himself by believing he is both colourful and amusing (Letters, 23rd May, Oxford Mail). My guess is that by ignoring my reference to his 'wild assertions' he is not disagreeing with me there either. I am so pleased to hear it.

Just in case your readers were placing bets on who is going to have the final word (Insider 18th May) then I can see the odds on this being a long race on which only the Oxford Mail will have the final say!
