Tories are the REAL Sham - letter to Abingdon Herald/Oxford Mail

Cllr John Howell is sounding increasingly desperate. He hopes that his long rants about the Lib Dems will obscure his own County Conservatives' record on the Green Belt (letters,10th/12th August).

On 1st November 2005, the following Conservative County Councillors voted against protecting the Green Belt: Cllrs Bolster, Brown, Mrs Fulljames, Mallon, Reynolds, Shouler, Stratford, Tilley, N Turner and Waine.

At the same meeting, the following Liberal Democrat County Councillors voted against protecting the Green Belt: none; we all voted to protect it.

Who's the real sham here?
