Member Champions

I find this paper very arrogant. No other Group has been given an opportunity to suggest areas where we might be in need of champions and no champions have been appointed from any other group despite the fact that they do not make decisions. Indeed, I remember the Leader once saying that he did not agree with the concept of champions - so he has obviously changed his mind.

It would be nice to champion some other causes within the council - what about pedestrians, people with disabilities, children excluded from school or libraries? Maybe these may be looked at for the future and may I suggest asking other groups?
