Cllr Zoé Patrick has become the new leader of the Liberal Democrats on the County Council, and Leader of the Opposition. Zoé takes over from Dermot Roaf who has led the group for four years.

Dermot said, "It has been a great experience leading the group, and I thank all my colleagues who have worked with me through the major changes we have seen on the County Council. But this is the second stint I have had as leader, and I am ready for a change. I am sure that Zoé will do an excellent job."

Zoé said, "It is a great privilege to be chosen to lead a group that is so full of highly talented people. I shall make sure that I will be doing my best to call the Cabinet to account on decisions affecting Oxfordshire."
