Oxfordshire County Liberal Democrats are calling on the County Council at the Council meeting next week to work better with district, town and parish councils in Oxfordshire.

Cllr Zoé Patrick, Leader of the Opposition on the County Council, said, "People understandably get confused about the tiers of local government and who does what. It shouldn't make a difference which one they contact first - we should be working together to provide a seamless service to residents.

"There are some good examples elsewhere in the country that we could follow and so I'm asking the County Council to be proactive now in thinking how partnership working could develop in Oxfordshire."
